“We had a fashion show where everyone checked their closets and offered clothing worn “back in the old days”, including wedding dresses once worn by grandmothers, cheerleading outfits worn in youth, and period clothing. These dresses were modeled by the Young Women.
The committee who organized this event was made up of Relief Society sisters and Young Women. The Young Women learned how to put on a major event, were involved in the planning, held responsibilities for follow-through. And best of all, everyone had fun working together.”
