On July 7, 2009, the Schwamendingen Ward of the Zurich Stake in Switzerland hosted a blood drive for a local health organization. About a 1000 flyers were passed out in the neighborhoods in advance to invite people to come donate blood. On the morning of the event the 2nd councilor in the Relief Society, came with several other sisters and made sandwiches to give to the donors and workers later in the evening. The donation activity started at 6:00 pm and lasted for two hours. Many people came and donated blood although not as many as hoped because of bad weather and this year has been a particularly bad year for ticks. Once bitten a person cannot give blood for a minimum of three months.
(I love to see how a typical LDS Chapel, from clear across the world, looks just like the one I go to.)
I am looking for someone who would be willing to hire out as a genealogy guide sometime during the week of Nov. 7, 2012. I am from the USA and do not speak German.
