“Our homemaking activity, in the Schwamendingen Ward last month was making dishes, candle holders, hot plates, wall hangings, or whatever out of clay. The sisters were asked to bring actual leaves to imprint in the clay by using a rolling pin. Then they used a knife to cut the leaves out and to deepen the veins a little. They could shape them into a dish etc. and then they were taken home to bake in a kiln. Some of them, as you will see, look pretty cool.”
I like the fact that all ages appear to be in attendance. I love to see the Young Women and girls involved with the older sisters.
